We saw a lot of crazy things this year – “Berries and Creme” lads aside. And that’s within the gaming industry or without. What’s been popular this year though? Yahoo! can probably answer that with their annual “Top Trends in Search” list for 2007.
While there are indeed a lot of popular keywords being searched throughout the year, with each list focusing on a specific category (i.e. Entertainment, Sports, Yahoo! Kids, etc.), what concerns us today is the list of top 10 searches in technology. Here we go!

The three major consoles ending up on that list isn’t very surprising – Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft have all been causing earthquakes throughout the year with their videogame consoles (slash “home entertainment hub”).
Apple got quite a chunk of the list as well, what with getting people to camp out in lines for the iPhone. And among video game titles, people have been searching quite a lot for Guitar Hero from Activision – correction: Activision Blizzard.
