Sega had previously admitted to cutting the hostess bars and a Japanese trivia quiz. According to folks on the Sega boards, that’s just the teeny tiny tip of the iceberg. At first, Sega’s reasoning for the cuts was that they were done to ensure an overseas release for Yakuza 3. They later amended that to be a by-product of their tight release schedule.
