“Ye Olde Pickup Lines of Oblivion.” ‘Nuff said.

Time to get out of the room and practice in the real world. - Image 1Let’s step back from the serious, newsy stuff for a moment (you have been warned: this is Off-Topic). Valentine’s Day is coming up, and soon, attentions must be divided between that console or PC… and your Significant Other (who better not be the console or PC). Except if you’re single, but looking, which means you’ve got to spend 100% of your resources on finding a date.

BGN patched up a video of Bethesda‘s Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, as a “Pick-up Lines for Dummies” reel. And… er, we can understand how “How about mixing up some potions?” could be construed as a pick-up line, and “This is your lucky day” before entering a dark dungeon obviously is one, but how in the blazes can “I’ve heard you know how to move in light armor” be considered a come-hither?

Two other things to watch out for: (a) the insistence that Men Can’t Take a Hint, and (b) learning from the Ladies’ Man himself… Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

Mercy me. No one wants to be lonely this Valentine’s Day.
