Yoshi eggs into Super Smash Bros. Brawl with Yoshi’s Story music

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is charging up for a release later this year. Now despite how far its gone in its development, we’re still pretty stumped as to why Nintendo isn’t showing screenshots or videos that are showing the rest of the playable characters.

The only characters we’ve seen in media content are (as far as this writer’s seen) Mario, Fox McCloud, Link, Pikachu, Zero Suit Samus, Samus Aran (with the suit), Kirby, Meta Knight, Pit, Wario, and, last but not least, Solid Snake. Where the hell are the rest of the characters?

We might as well be able to confirm another character on that list today, and it’s not because of a screenshot or a video. Turn your ears – yes, ears – to a different kind of media content, and you’ll find the latest update to the official site of Super Smash Bros. Now, are we surprised to see Yoshi in the roster of playable characters? Not really; he’s been a resident Smash fighter after all. We’re just happy to find that the developers are starting to reveal more and more characters for the game. We’re now wondering when we’ll see some Megaman music updated onto their official site… or maybe that’s just us being hopeful.
