Your PS2 HD cables will work on your PS3s
This is one interesting bit of information we got right here. Coming in from Robert, we found out that your PS2’s HD component cable can actually be used on your PS3!
He stumbled upon this bright idea while trying to figure out where he can find a cheap HD component cable for the PS3. And then, like having a light bulb lit in his head, he realized that it has the same AV output slot as with the PS1 and PS2. So heading out to the store, he went ahead and bought the official Sony PS2 cables. And voila! It worked like charm!
That’s some leap of faith right there. And aren’t we glad he took it? Anyway, he says the best component cables for PS3 are tagged at US$ 99. But then, if you do have your PS2 cables, you won’t even have to spend a cent.
