Zack and Wiki: The Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure from Famitsu

Looks like Dr. Kawashima isn’t the only famous disembodied head on a Nintendo console these days. Direct from the latest Famitsu scans we’ve just picked up (via NeoGAF), we’ll be taking another look at Capcom‘s Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure, and the zany cast of characters it’ll be bringing to the Wii:

The first page (page 212) appears to be giving extra details on Barbaros – that’d be the floating gold skull with the ‘stache – and how he figures on Zack’s adventures on the island. Also detailed appears to be two of the several treasures that this duo will be hunting down in-game.

The second page (page 213) delves more into the gameplay proper and gives pointers on the sort of motions gamers can expect to pull off with the Wiimote. Given that it’s all in Japanese, we can’t really say what’s written on the scans – Nihonggo-literate readers are invited to read them over.

Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is expected to launch in North America this fall 2007, at a retail price of US$ 39.95.
