Zippo lighters breathe Blue Dragon fire in Japan

Zippo blue - Image 1 For those of you fans of either Mistwalker, Blue Dragon, or Zippo lighters, well here’s something to add to that list of things to spend your money on get for your collection.

On the other side of the world, the Japanese arm of the Zippo Manufacturing Company has just released the Blue Dragon-themed lighter. With Zippo lighters already considered as collectible items on their own, we’re expecting at least two types of collectors to start placing their orders, as this lighter is also considered an official Blue Dragon merchandise.

Sporting a… well… metallic blue body, the lighter bears the illustration of the Blue Dragon itself on one side, while the other side has the game’s logo monogrammed on it. The lighter also comes with its own clear display case, and bears the requisite serial number which attests to its authenticity as a Zippo product. Each lighter is priced at Â¥10,500, though, or about US$ 87.

Well, if that seems too pricey, at least there’s still the Blue Dragon mug set which goes for Â¥3360 (about US$ 28) for a set of six.
