Zootfly to develop a new Ghostbusters game?
There’s something strange in the neighborhood. Spectres are floating about the intahrwebs about Ghostbusters game being pitched by ZootFly, the developer responsible for such games as Panzer Elite Action. The Ghostbusters Message Board is certainly abuzz with visions of crossing proton streams (don’t ever, ever CROSS the proton streams!!!) and having to deal with Slimer’s midnight messes.
Is there a game coming, though? The image you see above comes from a PDF file of a presentation delivered by ZootFly’s Bostjan Troha… and in a Slavic language. There are two YouTube videos in the Full Article, coming from bostjanzoot – presumably Bostjan’s YouTube profile – of the prototype game. Such videos would be used in their sales pitch to potential investors and publishers, no doubt.
Next – IF ZootFly is devving (or would like to dev) a Ghostbusters game, which platform? (Why do you think we’re posting this on all the games platforms? We don’t know either). Their company website does mention their plans to develop on next-gen consoles. ZootFly did have experience devving for the original Xbox and the PC. But this doesn’t necessarily rule out development on handhelds, either (Hey, beats lugging a proton pack the weight of a nuke reactor).
Finally: how would a Marshmallow Man boss battle play out like? ‘Cause I got a ton of hot chocolate that needs some TLC.
Gostbusters vs. Ghost Reco – er… ghosts after the jump! Hey, I told you NOT to cross the proton streams!
