Zuluhed to Blizzard: we need more players!

World of Warcraft Forums - covering what's hot in the WoW Community - Image 1Realm underpopulation in Blizzard‘s World of Warcraft isn’t a new issue, we know. Dozens of reasons, including in-game character transfers, friend invites, PvP or non-PvP types, and even too many realms, can be the cause of why your realm seems to be awfully deserted as of late. We would say that’s expected on a pay-to-play game, but then you’d know that already.

Big blue Blizzard tries to help out these underpopulated realms, but under the wake of certain game issues and controversies, it looks like numbers could be slightly dwindling off the eight million mark. If it was bad before the announced subscription drops, imagine what it’s like now after entire guilds have left.

So when Pepe from Zuluhed asked why his realm, being so underpopulated, isn’t on the recommended realms list, we’re not surprised that Drysc mentioned, “The realms we’re focusing on all have less players than Zuluhed.” It looks like some people really have it that bad.

But just in case you’re a World of Warcraft hopeful who’d like to start out your Burning Crusade days with a slightly fresh (and lonely?) start, we’re posting this up for the lonely lads at Zuluhed and encouraging you to try it out. But remember, always read the realm description first. You don’t want to enter a non-PvP zone with your decked out avatar designed to gank newbies or the other way around.
