A glimpse of SOCOM: Confrontation at Sony Gamers Day 07
Okay, here’s what we know about SOCOM: Confrontation from Sony‘s Spring Gamers Day“>Gamers Day 07:
- It is reportedly multiplayer only.
- It is going to be available on Blu-ray and via download on the PlayStation Network
- It is developed by Slant Six, the same folks handling SOCOM: Tactical Strike for the PSP.
- It is going to allow up to 32 players in a map.
- It is going to be available this Fall.
- It set in a place with a decidedly middle eastern look to it.
- It has a pretty nice trailer.
It’s also been reported that the game will release additional stuff the form of content packs that contain new game modes, weapons, maps, etc. Furthermore, you’ll be able to customize the your character’s appearance from head to toe. Of course, the “clan” leaders still get to dictate the dominant parts of the clan uniform, but members still get to tweak a few bits here and there.
