Angry Birds is still the top iPhone game

As early as May this year, Angry Birds was already perched on top of the iPhone chart, besting Pac-Man’s 30th birthday celebration down at the iTunes store. It continued to hold on even after E3 2010 and the World Cup hype for the FIFA iPhone game. Several weeks later, here they are, still on top.

Surprising? Not really. Angry Birds received the Best New Download IP award in the recent Develop Industry Excellence Awards, and yeah, nesting high up the charts for 12 weeks says a lot.
