Blizzard and downloader bugs

So you WoW fans probably know that Blizzard just released some updates about the new background downloader, which we heard saves the data to the desktop, instead of to its target location.

Anyway, the WoW makers sure aren’t playing a deaf ear to this problem, and by early next week, they’re going to a release an update, which will hopefully fix the “desktop bug”.

Blizzard also advised not to move the saved data yourself, as the background downloader will probably not recognize it, prompting you to download the same file, again.

However, if you really, really need to move the said file, make sure you call their technical support team first, as”t here are a number of steps that you will need to take in order to successfully move the data and prevent future problems.” Also, Mac users who intend to use the background download will have to do it manually.
