A new batch of details for PlayStation Home was revealed in a little Q&A between Home staffers and beta testers.
We don’t have official confirmation from Sony that this info is legit, but users from the PS3Forums claim that the official guys from Home were Lucas_Star, CyndoniaX, and Tdog.
The users also say the the meeting was posted on the message of the day, and took place at Home’s Central Plaza at 8-10 p.m. Eastern. But let’s move on to what you want to hear. The details they say were revealed during the meeting were:
- Open Beta will hit either on December 15 or 30
- Open Beta will be restricted to 18+
- Censor on swearing will be lifted in the Full Beta
- A random weather system
- A money system
According to one of the users, the money system will work this way: “You earn money from collecting trophies. And you will get money for the trophies you already have.” Could this be the “Trophy reward system” OPM heard wind about last month?
Since we haven’t heard of any official confirmation from Sony, we’ll have to tag all of these as rumors for now.
