PS3 controller to be redesigned

In more news out of GDC 06, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios President, Phil Harrison, announced that the heavily criticised controller for the upcoming PS3 will be redesigned and will be on display at E3 2006 in May.

I also wonder if Sony’s recent court decision about the Dual Shock and the possibility they may not be able to include this technology in any future product came into play.
