S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mutant shoot-out: gameplay montage

We know you’ve seen a lot of gameplay videos for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, heck you’ve even seen the cinematic trailer which shows us the true-to-life backdrop of the game. And with the recent news of the game finally achieving gold status, we can only expect more and more goodies to come our way as the game’s release dawns nearer.

For the benefit of those not in the know, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is the GSC Game World-developed FPS for the PC which builds on the  Chernobyl Power Plant explosion that occurred in 1986. Some of you might also be interested to know that the game will make use of the X-Ray engine and will have realistic physics simulation (ballistic, motions, weather, explosions, etc.). Add to that the skeleton-based animation which allows motion-capture hardware usage and produces smooth and realistic motion of characters…well, that just plain screams of kick-ass graphics.

So anyway, to get a glimpse of all that as well as the environments and action you’ll be getting yourself into, just hit the play button and bask in the blood and gore of the game (after proving that you are 18 and above, though). Enjoy!
