Wii Gets Full Support From Majesco

MajescoMajesco Entertainment Company emphasized once more its support for Nintendo. Aside from the much anticipated Bust-a-Move Revolution, a classic arcade-original puzzle game, the third-party game publisher reminded everyone of their second title for Wii. But still, they refused to give any further details.

The said reiteration came after reports declared a $4.4 million gross profit for the company, third quarter of its fiscal year. It would be remembered that Majesco suffered a big blow just last year, as its total loss for the same period amounted to $16.2 million.

Interim CEO for Majesco Jesse Sutton shares, “Looking forward, we believe that Nintendo’s new Wii console has excellent potential to capture the mass market gamer while remaining within our more conservative cost structure. He further stated that their company is trying to build momentum this holiday season for the bigger, more exciting 2007 lineup.

Majesco first made a name for itself by re-releasing old titles that had been abandoned by their original publishers.
