5 million copies of Final Fantasy XIII shipped worldwide

Now that Final Fantasy XIII has seen daylight outside of Japan, Square Enix proudly announces that over 5 million copies of the game have shipped worldwide.

 

 

 

 

Now that Final Fantasy XIII has seen daylight outside of Japan, Square Enix proudly announces that over 5 million copies of the game have shipped worldwide.

 

 

For that five million, two stayed in Japan, all PS3 versions. The rest of the world had to share the other three million, divided among the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. With that number pitching in, the grand total for the Final Fantasy series has reached 96 million.

 

Square Enix hasn’t revealed how many of the games shipped have been converted into sales, but Media Create, GfK and the NPD will take care of things on that end.
