99 Lives Exploit – New Super Mario Bros.

Are you a dirty cheater looking for your fix in New Super Mario Bros.? Well, call me a drug dealer because I’ve got the stuff you need… Slashing Games has revealed that the classic Koopa shell trick of getting 99 lives has been revived. The instructions are as follows:

Go to World 2-4. At the end of the level you will see a Koopa walking down the steps that lead to the flagpole. Jump on him but don’t kick the shell off the steps. Place yourself on the step directly below the step that the Koopa shell is on. Hug the step. Now, simply jump up in the air without touching the D-pad. You’ll start to bounce on the shell. YouÂ’re done now! Wait until the desired 1-Up number is reached.
