GO GO GO! [Beta]
Altunozara, from our forums, has released his first Lua game entitled – GO GO GO! Now, when I downloaded this game, I had no idea what I was getting into or what the goal of the game was. I re-read the thread’s post and found that the game doesn’t really have a goal right now (frown came down upon my face). The goal of this goals game is to collect all the little circles (almost like Pacman). However, there’s no AI – only a second human player in which you can play against (you take the D-pad controls, and your opponent takes the face buttons).
As you go along the level, you will rack up points for each circle you collect – it accumulates the 2nd players score into yours as well. So, with no real “vs” system in place, the current goal of the game is to clear the level of these circles – but try to be creative, otherwise it won’t be as fun. You could also be like me, and try to find all the errors and bugs that are in the game as the author stated there were a few.
This is indeed a beta of a game, but it shows excellent potential for a good game. After Altunozara gets all the bugs and errors out of the game – I think we can enjoy it even more. It shows a promising concept with a Pacman-like feel to it without the annoying mazes. If AI is implanted and the scores are kept separate, this game would find a home on my PSP.
