Straight From Japan: New Excite Truck Screen
In a Wii update article earlier today, we confirmed that the Excite Truck will be revving up in time for the Wii’s launch on November 19. Oh yes, the nostalgia-inducing game will be available at the same time you get your hands on the much-awaited next-gen console! Sigh, brings back the days when we used to be so psyched over the old school Excite Bike. Heehee.
There have been no confirmed details as to how the Wiimote will be used for these games, but as we’ve mentioned in an earlier article, we think that the controller will be used to steer your truck and to balance yourself while you pull of jumps. The D-pad could also function as a turbo button while the 1 button will serve as your brakes and the 2 for the accelerator. Looks like we’d have to wait till November 19 to find out, but in the meantime, enjoy the screen we have for you.
