2K Sports has recently announced that NBA 2K7, has officially gone gold. The game is considered to be code-complete, finito, finished, done, 100% built, ready, and good to enter manufacturing. It will reach stores next week.

New features for this year include the much covered “Signature Style” animations for players, lighting, 3D crowds, and 30 new gameplay camera angles. On the gameplay side, there’s a new Street-ball story mode, a new Create player system, and a complete franchise mode.

The main draw for this release, at least in our opinion, would be the Signature Style animations. It just adds so much more realism to the game that at times it really feels like you’re watching a game on TV instead of just playing a game.

It has online support built-in, a feature for all you people who love to curse and heckle each other on Xbox Live.
