Winning Eleven, a soccer game series by Konami Tokyo, is the original Japanese version of Pro Evolution Soccer. Every year, Konami releases a new version of the game in two different packages. It is known as Pro Evolution Soccer for Europe and Winning Eleven International for the rest of the gaming world. In some countries, a localized version featuring local leagues and teams is released.

Winning Eleven 9 PSP is the first version of the game for the handheld console. Winning Eleven 9 features realistic and intuitive gameplay all wrapped up in fast-paced action. The PSP version also has the following features:

• New moves, tricks and formations create the most authentic soccer experience available
• Transfer game option data from PS2
• 57 National and 138 officially licensed European Club Teams including Chelsea and Arsenal
• Thousands of the world’s top professional players
• Supports up to eight players via the wireless ad-hoc mode
