PSX-P Beta 1, PS1 emulator now available

PSX-P Beta 1

After its initial release just a few days ago, Yoshihiro quickly follows up on his work as his unofficial PS1 emulator for the PSP now makes it to the Beta stage. The creator of PSX-P, however, notes that plays must be in ISO format or BIN, and that for legal reasons, the file SCPH1001.BIN, which is the PS1 BIOS, will not be provided and the player will have to find this from another source. Yoshihiro has also included the following information:

In the current version of this emulator, the speed of execution is still slow but this is with the absence of a dynarec (dynamic decompilor) optimized. Dark_Alex should consider this part of the emulator rather quickly. Approximately, after having finished its HEN on the 2.71.

Thus here us are with a playable version beta in the hands and we are glad to be able to divide it with you.

Installation:
The versions proposed on PSP-GENERATION were compressed in order to have only to decompress them over the ms of your PSP. It is necessary to have winrar installed (winrar is much better than winzip).

  • Download the version adapted to your firmware.
  • Connect your PSP and pass in mode USB
  • Click with the right button on the file which you downloaded.
  • Choose to extract the files
  • Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP
  • Support on OK and it is all.

Or to put the bios?
In repertory BIOS of the PxsP repertory (in light, in ms0: /PSP/GAME/__SCE__psxp/bios)

Or to put the roms?
In the Romanian repertory of the PxsP repertory (in light, in ms0: /PSP/GAME/__SCE__psxp/rom)

How I launch this homebrew?
PSP 1.0 and 1.50: finely jeu>memory stick> Psx-P

PSP 2.00 to 2.60: install eLoader 0.9.8 and use the photo mode to start the loader”

Note: Here at PSPUpdates, we do not tolerate piracy, please do not distribute links to ISO files or BIN files as you will be banned from commenting. This also applies if you are asking for the said files. Thanks.
