Serving Up Some Virtua Tennis 3 Screens!

Virtua Tennis

Why do gaming journalists and bloggers alike feel the need to start their articles with a lame pun in the title? Simple, it gives our pitiful little lives some meaning that’s why.

Anyway, just as the title suggests we’ve got a brand new batch of screens from Sega‘s much loved Virtua Tennis 3. It’s been confirmed that the PlayStation 3 version of the game is currently running in 1080p native, I wonder if given Microsoft‘s recent announcement that the 360 will be capable of displaying 1080p games we’ll see the 360 version do the same? It’s unlikely though as the game might simply be too far along for those changes to be made in time, still, at least the 360 version will have online support. Personally, I don’t think the game looks all that graphically impressive anyway, the animations are smooth, but not a huge leap over last year, and while the characters are pretty darn detailed, they look like zombie clay-men. Still, it’s the gameplay that counts in the end, and Virtua Tennis always delivers.
