ArchLord ships early but still unplayable
The fantasy game world of Chantra served as battleground for ArchLord‘s epic PvP showdown yesterday. Following the beta’s success is a rather bittersweet news for Codemaster’s upcoming MMO. As North America gets ArchLord on October 3, the European market will receive their titles on October 6.
It has come to the attention of Codemaster’s Mr. Ktat that some players already have their individual copies as a number of retailers already shipped the game. Now, regardless of having the box early, the company regretfully announces that players can not start playing until October 3. The official letter reads: “Players are still unable to create their accounts. Servers shall be taken down on the 2nd wiped and then returned so that players can start playing on October 3rd.“
Well, another day of waiting is no sacrifice at all if that means smoother and better gaming experience. ArchLord launches with a standard monthly subscription of $14.99, (plus applicable taxes).
