Destroy All Humans! coming to a next-gen console near you
Pandemic Studios, the creators of the highly-popular Destroy All Humans! series for current generation home consoles, have announced that they will be creating a second production team that will create a next generation version of the satirical alien invasion series. Pandemic is to build on the success of its Australian operation, which has grown over its six year history from a dozen to nearly one hundred employees.
Josh Resnick, president of Pandemic Studios, says, “With the release of Destroy All Humans! 2, our Brisbane studio is now turning its attention to the development of brand new titles for next-generation gaming systems.” Of course, at this early stage, Pandemic did not announce which consoles you can expect the Destroy All Humans! series to be coming to, but based on previous games, Pandemic will likely release it on as many different systems as possible.
What can we expect from a next generation Destroy All Humans! offering? John Passfield, creative director, shares, “The Brisbane studio had a blast creating Destroy All Humans! 2 and weÂ’re looking forward to delivering the same unique Pandemic flavor to our fans in future games. Giving fans the freedom to play the game their way is what we do best. The only limits to game-play are the gamersÂ’ imagination.” Now if we translate that from Australian to English we get three features beginning with ‘F’: fun, free roaming, and fat levels!
