We take special note in Knuckles the Echidna, who makes more air time in the following screenshots

For those a bit unfamiliar with the red dude with dreadlocks, Knuckles the Echidna was first introduced in the Sonic 3 for the Sega Genesis, and has his own fan following in both the game and the comics.
