Wii: Post-buy booty

Wii, and then some

One thing we love about going shopping is all those freebies we pick up before we even buy our intended merchandise – perfumes, sausage samplers, pine-fresh air fresheners, hotel towels (ahh, fluffy!), hotel soap…who doesn’t like getting free stuff without having to lift a finger?

Kotaku reader Ed K. just posted a photo over at their site, and aside from the triumphant Wii we see in the pic, he also picked up some other post-purchase goodies from the Wii launch at the Times Square Toys “R” Us and Nintendo World Store. Spot them starting from the top, counter-clockwise: Nintendo Wii, Mario and Yoshi plush toys, Microwave oven (?), “Wii <3 You” seat pillow, Wii brochure, and Wii beanie.

On a side note, the “Wii <3 You” seat cushion isn’t a Nintendo product, but was passed around by another group to the guys who were waiting in line for the launch – most kind of them. Not included in this pile is the coveted Reggie Wii T-shirt,  Awww…wait, what’s with the microwave oven?
