Wii Sensor Bar issues? Make one yourself
It’s only been a couple of days ago since we posted an article on the Wii’s sensor bar and what’s actually in it. If you’d recall, dxprog, come the end of his vid, suggested that maybe someone would soon be inspired to create his own homemade sensor bar. That was apparently heeded.
We have here now a video from Brian “Doctabu” Moore, and his very own homemade sensor bar for the Wii. What triggered this little project of his was the projector in his apartment. The trouble was that he was hesitant to hook up his Wii to it because of the length he’d need to have in the cable to put the bar right under the image.
So, armed with a perf board, some wires, 4 AA batteries, and 4 IR LEDs, he went on to do a bit of soldering, and voila! He’s now created his very own sensor bar for the Wii. Anyway, in case you’re interested in making one as well, check out the vid above. You can also check out his blog entry on it via the Read link below.
Thanks, badam!
