Koei to bring classic PlayStation title to the portable format.
by Anoop Gantayat
June 22, 2005 – Nobunaga will be sharing his world ambition on the portable format. Koei has announced Nobunaga no Yabou: Tenshoki for the PSP, a port of the classic PlayStation title that saw Japanese release back in 1996. Many consider this entry to be the best in the series, which is better known in America as Nobunaga’s Ambition.
For the PSP version of the game, Koei is readjusting the screen interface to take advantage of the PSP’s wide screen support and is also creating new movies. The PSP version also benefits from speedier computer AI, making strategy scenes quicker.
Your goal of creating a united Japan remains the same — it wouldn’t be a Nobunaga’s Ambition game without that!
A Japanese release is set for 8/25.
