All new Full Auto 2: Battlelines screens and art

poor oranges never saw it comin'...

No matter how we try, there are just some game elements that we never grow tired of. Say for example speed, destruction, explosions, and fast fast cars. And in the end, no matter how many racers there are in the market right now, as long as you have those mentioned elements, we give in to our mad driving fantasies and succumb to the lure of burnt rubber.

For gamers such as this writer here who are suckers for racers, I personally think you’ll agree with me when I say that Full Auto 2: Battlelines (for PS3 and PSP from Sega and Deep Fried Entertainment) promises all those elements and more — making it one of the highly-anticipated racers for the two consoles. But if you’re not convinced, let’s run down some of the game’s features, shall we?

  • 15 different car models, nine of which are new to the PSP and each with distinctive skins, decals, adn colors to choose from
  • Customizable items, some from the garage menu and some as rewards for accomplished missions
  • 18 weapons to choose from, 10 of which are brand spanking new (including the Mortar, M16, M60, Aircraft Gun and Heat-Seeking missiles)
  • Weapons can now be placed not just on the front and back of vehicles, but on the sides as well
  • Multiplayer modes: ad-hoc versions of the arena deathmatches, new modes like Head-On and Down & Back
  • A rockin’ soundtrack including tracks from Stone Sour, Sum 41, We Are Scientists, and tons more

But if that’s enough to get you psyched up for the game, then I honestly don’t know what will. But perhaps these screens might help?
