WoW mod: ClearFont
You can do a lot of things in World of Warcraft. Aside from the regular official patches done by Blizzard, the community has taken upon itself to come up with some modifications of their own. What we are talking about here are simple, harmless ones – just enough to make the lives of players easier.
Take this one for example. ClearFont is an add-on that does nothing but customize the in-game font. While some of you may think that this serves no purpose at all, be informed that fonts are a necessity. You certainly don’t want to confuse “Horde on the North!” with “Horns of Norm” or other examples like i-really-don’t-give-a-damn-you-get-what-i-mean.
Anyway, installation of ClearFont is rather easy. If you’re using Windows, all you have to do is unzip the file into your WoW folder. It will then automatically place files in your Addons folder and your Fonts folder (not present in default installs). If you’re on Mac, here’s how:
- Put the Interface/AddOns/ClearFont folder in your AddOns folder, like you would any other mod.
- Put the Fonts folder in your World of Warcraft folder.
