Of trial accounts and experience stopping at level 20

 

For the new citizens of the World of Warcraft, there are too many things to learn at once. Sometimes, older and more experienced players would help – though the WoW Forums may be a bit of a scary place most of the time.

Anyway, Captfantaz asked a question in the forums about leveling. It seems that he’s stopped gaining experience and upon reaching level 20. Another player, Sheilaen said that she stopped gaining experience at level 25. Some players remarked that Captfantaz and Sheilaen might be killing “gray” monsters or monsters that are of lower level than him and therefore not gaining any experience. Blizzard posted Drysc was on hand and answered the query:

My only thoughts are that you’re either killing enemies that are too low level for you to gain experience from, or that while you’ve upgraded your trial account there is still some “trial time” left on it. I’m not positive on the second part as to the functionality of upgrading a trial account but I believe that’s how it works.

Hmm.. There are still a lot of speculation regarding the problem since both Captfantaz and Sheilaen have upgraded their subscriptions. We’ll keep you posted on this problem when solid confirmation comes. In the meantime, stay tuned for more World of Warcraft news.
