Guitar Hero II: Scott Ian unplugged

For the air guitargamer who has been ridiculed for not being a real “musician”, consider this your revenge. We spotted this video featuring the Madhouse track for RedOctane‘s Guitar Hero II, with none other than Anthrax’s Scott Ian taking the helm…or guitar. Given the guy’s a pro, Madhouse on easy should be cakewalk, right?

Well, not quite, if you view the video…

To be fair, there’s a world of difference between jamming with a live band guitar in front of wild screaming fans, as compared to strumming a console mock-up in a nice, quiet retail store. And while this is the PS2 version of the title, gamers may want to take their cue to start practicing – you have approximately three months to get your beat in order. Kudos to Scott for taking this in stride.
