Vanguard: of memory leaks, ToolTip fixes and Gold farming reports

 

It hasn’t been a month since Vanguard: Saga of Heroes has set foot on retail stores, but the devs are already hard at work with fixing certain issues about the game and game activities. Going over the Vanguard website, we found out about the possible updates that the game would receive in the coming days or weeks.

The devs addressed the issue with memory leaks. This problem had caused many players to crash to desktop somewhat frequently, so the next patch would fix two major memory leak issues causing these problems. They also asked that after the fixes are patched, to let them know on the tech support forums or affiliate fan sites if these issues show up again. They’ll do their part, so you should also do your end of the bargain.

Another issue that was talked about was the annoying issues with tooltips (such as them not displaying an item’s correct stats) . These have been fixed for the next patch so deciding whether to roll on loot or not should be much easier now.

And lastly, but the most perennial problems of MMOs nowadays, is the Gold farming issue. The Vanguard devs divulged that “the community has been absolutely fantastic at helping us catch gold farmers by reporting them and pointing them out to us. Many bannings have happened already and many more are soon to follow.”
