It looks like the skies really have become the newest playground for tuner-heads everywhere. As we reported earlier, After Burner: Black Falcon will have three customization categories to choose from, and two of them will be focused on your plane’s, er, outside looks.

Looks won’t be the only thing you can customize in the game, though. Functional upgrades can boost your plane’s firepower and speed, giving you that little extra edge that you need to stay alive long enough to get back to base and put your plane through another customization run.

Sega‘s After Burner: Black Falcon will be hitting Sony PSPs in the U.S. on March 20 to the tune of US$ 39.95.
