Changes to flight path times and routes coming soon
Ten-minute flights are a dream come true on the real world. In Azeroth, however, they can sometimes make a player tear his or her hair out in boredom and frustration. Of course, if something’s bothering you in World of Warcraft, all you have to do is go to the forums and post your complaint. That’s exactly what one player did when he just couldn’t take the ten-minute wait to fly from the Blasted Lands to the Hinterlands anymore.
Blizzard poster Tseric was quick to respond in that signature blue font that Blizzard posters use. According to Tseric, the devs are currently in the process of making adjustments to flight paths in order to shorten them. The devs, again according to tseric, are also having the flight paths make more sense in relation to the actual routes taken.
These changes are expected to be implemented in the next patch, as Tseric said that he doesn’t believe they made it to 2.0.10. Of course, if you’re trying to get from one continent to another, it’d still take a while even when the changes take effect, but at least there’s some action being done about it.
