Data Design Interactive expands team for Wii game development, six titles by Q2
Data Design Interactive‘s recent upgrade to an official developer and publisher for games on the Nintendo Wii has given way to its plans of expanding its game development teams. In an official press release, Data Design has announced that they have acquired new staff for the positions of Project Organizers and QA Testers.
Jarod Griffiths recently joined Data Design back in April 16, 2007 to fill in the role of Project Organizer. Joshua Smith entered the company earlier in March 26 as a Quality Assurance Tester, together with Andrew Ray. Ray joined soon after Smith did, filling in another QA Tester position back in April 9.
Stewart Green, Project Director of Data Design Interactive, said that they needed staff with the experience and a good, professional approach to game development as the company grew. He added, “This is a very busy time for the company and we have hired staff with the experience and knowledge to allow them to ‘hit the ground running.'”
In league with the acquisition of new staff, the UK-based developer is now gearing up to port the first six titles to the Wii by the second quarter of this year. These titles have already been mentioned way before, but hopefully, instead of a six title release by the second half of the year, they will be able to release the first six titles, as announced, by before the end of the first half of the year:
- Billy the Wizard
- Myth Makers Super Kart GP
- Anubis II
- Ninjabread Man
- Monster Trux Extreme
- Elviz: Rock N Roll Adventures
