Gametech’s filter and port protection caps for Wii
Peripheral device manufacturer Gametech announced in Japan the release of its new accessory for the Wii. It is actually a “cleaning” add-on which takes care of the dust in your console’s filter and port area. The said device will be available today in Japan for 680 Yen or roughly around US$ 5.60.
The following are the products main specifications as provided by Gametech itself. Please pardon the weblation’s “Engrish”:
- Invasion of the [yani] dust to the inhalation and exhalation of air mouth and the terminal of the substance for Wii is prevented.
- Set of filter for inhalation and exhalation of air mouth and port cap for terminal.
- The inlet panel which prevents the invasion of the [yani] dust with 2 layer system.
- You remove the port cap with the tub attachment, simplicity.
- Before the installing the soiling and the cleaning cross which can wipe off the dust attachment.
Gametech has yet to mention if the said product will be available in other markets outside Japan. Gametech is also known for its colorful covers for the Wii’s classic controller.
