WoW Druid’s Tree of Life form and the needed restoration skill
The Druid class in World of Warcraft both has a lot of potentials and problems. In a nutshell, Druid is an uber hybrid class as it combines the essence of Priests, Warriors, Rogues, and even Mages. Given this however, there is always a high possibility that Druids may not be able to maximize the talents and skills of the other given classes.
Over at the official WoW community forum for Europe, we picked up an interesting thread that points out exactly the said dilemma. Here’s the thing, players are asking Blizzard why the other classes that are able to heal have restoration skills while the Druids in heal form (Tree of Life) do not.
Blizzard forum moderator Vaneras answered this inquiry by saying that the Druids have restoration capabilities but these cannot be compared to those of the other healing classes. He further discussed,
The Druid have a resurrection ability, which can even be used while in combat. Albeit it has a long cooldown, but it is a resurrection ability nonetheless. If Druids had the same abilities as other healing classes, then why choose to play with those classes at all?
Vaneras added that the bottom line is, each class is different from one another and it’s needless to say that each one has its respective strengths and weaknesses.
