E3 2007: Lost Odyssey immortal trailer
A genuine mix of western and Japanese RPGs that work so well can only sprout from the genius of a man who created one of the industry’s most successful franchises. Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy which redefined the genre and introduced intensive storytelling with likable characters, is once again producing a masterpiece that will grace the Xbox 360.
Lost Odyssey, being developed by Sakaguchi’s Mystwalker, was announced a couple of years back and we haven’t heard much since then. With the game nearing its completion, we finally get a fresh trailer from the whirlwind of games coming out on E3.
A child in denial would need some serious effort not to acknowledge that this game is shaping up to be more massive than the biggest competitors on the market. A brief trailer that runs for 1:30 minutes, with less than a handful of gameplay footage, was enough to put us in awe, as Kaim talks about his 1,000 years of immortality and countless battles across several generations.
Wait no more. Feast your eyes. Jump in.
