The redesigned PSP has a name: PSP Slim and Lite
If you’ve been anxiously waiting for the newly redesigned PSP, then here is a tidbit of information you may want to know.
Yet another source says that the new PSP model has a name other than its original designation of PSP-2000, adding to the ranks of sources that refer to the new PSP as the “PSP Slim & Lite” (other sources call it the “PSP Slim” while others call it the “PSP Lite”).
The image to the right shows an SRP of €169.99 or about US$ 235. It will be available in either Piano Black or Ice Silver when it comes out. A quick comparison of the two units show that the PSP Slim & Lite is 94 grams lighter than the older PSP and 19 percent slimmer.
In addition to this, it has been said that the newer units has improved battery life and video display.
