GameStop dates PlayStation 3’s Rock Band for November 6
More evidence appears to indicate that Harmonix‘s Rock Band for the PlayStation 3 will be getting launched earlier than expected. This information comes straight from retailer GameStop, which has listed the game’s (and bundle packs) PS3 port under a shipping date of November 6.
As you guys may recall, the possibility of a 11/06 release date was touched on previously by cezar515 of the Rock Band Forums. The poster stated that GamePro magazine’s September issue listed Rock Band for a November 6 release, although at the time, this implied that both PS3 and 360 copies would get the same date. GameStop’s posting on its site indicates that only the PS3 version of the game will be hitting the streets on the sixth, with the Xbox 360 version still dated for November 20.
Given that there’s no official word on this at the moment, we advise readers to keep alert for any possible updates and (hopefully) confirmations.
