Homebrew developer Zx-81 released yet another update to one of his emulators, the PSP7800 for the Sony PlayStation Portable. Not long after the previous update, Zx-81’s port for the handheld of Greg Stanton’s Windows-based ProSystem Atari 7800 emulator received more convenient features.
Now optimized for better audio and support for IR Keyboard, users can also enjoy PSP7800 version 1.1.0 with these changes:
- Display and save thumbnail images for each save state
- IR keyboard support (mainly for menu)
- Add option to display fps rate
- Option to prevent the blue led to be displayed when L or R are pressed
- New psp clock option (it can now run at 133 Mhz)
- New speed limiter function
- New sound engine (always crappy but faster)
- Import code from ProSystem version 1.2
zx-81 provided two versions of PSP7800 for firmwares 1.50 and 3.xx.
