There have been a lot of rumors about Irrational Games‘ Bioshock title for the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows platforms going to Sony’s PlayStation 3. Reports claim that Microsoft doesn’t have a complete exclusivity for the game and Irrational is just waiting for the deal to expire.
However, we have to keep in mind that these rumors are coming from everywhere – blogs, unknown websites, and whatnot – that we really can’t ascertain the truth behind it. On the other hand, we also have to consider that the buzz might be true if only for the sheer amount of rumors we’ve been hearing.
This time, the “confirmation” came from gaming blog Megascorcher and claims that the development came from someone in 2K Boston (that’s Irrational Games). The blog also added that Bioshock will be arriving on Sony‘s shiny black console around Spring next year.
Until the companies behind Bioshock give their official words in the matter though, we have to put this one as of now in the rumor bin.
