Bug reports concerning the Nintendo Wii version of hit video game title Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (also on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC) began to surface last week, with players complaining about the build’s mono sound output.
At that time, Activision released a statement that its developers will be looking into the matter. Today, we got another round of unofficial reports from French website Hard Gamers, saying that the company has decided to pull out Nintendo Wii copies from retail stores.
Are you having a hard time looking for a copy? Activision has yet to comment on this but the rumors mentioned that Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for the Wii will be available again in a couple of weeks, just in time for the holiday season.
If these reports are true, it’s a good thing that Activision has been very prompt in addressing the issue. While this is excellent for those who are about to purchase a copy, we can’t help but ask how about those gamers who already have a defective one.
We hope Activision also has something in store for them. Keep checking back here at QJ.NET for the latest developments on this issue.
