PS Ones No Longer Being Produced

So long and thanks for all the memories!

With the impending arrival this November of the next-gen PlayStation 3 console (we hope), Sony has confirmed it has stopped production of the system that started Sony’s dominance, the venerable PlayStation.
 
Since it’s launch in 1994, more than 100 million PS one consoles have been sold worldwide.

The PlayStation/PS one console is one of, if not, the best selling console in the history of the video game industry. Farewell, old friend.
