Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix update – more info about rebalancing, Akuma
We just can’t wait to get our hands on Capcom‘s downloadable Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD for the PS3 and Xbox 360, especially the much talked-about Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix version of the game. What more can we expect from the rebalanced HD Remix, and what about Akuma? Details in the full article.
There’s just a lot to expect from Capcom‘s upcoming downloadable title for the PS3 and Xbox 360, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD, especially the re-balanced game version, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. To those who aren’t yet familiar about what they’ll find in the HD-fied version of our beloved classic arcade title, there are actually two games in this package, which is SSF2T HD Remix (the rebalanced game) and SSF2T HD Classic Arcade.
Those who wouldn’t want anything modified in the game (save for the graphics) can rejoice in the fact that the Classic Arcade game preserves every technical aspect of the original game, down to the hit boxes. However, the rebalanced version serves to even out the battling ground for players to an extent, such us strengthening low-tiered characters.
Speaking of balancing, some changes have been made to Akuma as well. In order to make the online ranked matches fair, Akuma will not be selectable in online fights in the HD Classic Arcade version. He will also be unselectable in unranked matches, but there will be an option that can enable/disable Akuma in the default set.
However, Akuma will be rebalanced and playable in the HD Remix game, and there is no need to input a secret code to use him.
