In the DS version, players will set up and run their own Ghostbusters franchise. Pocket Gamer surmises that the basic gameplay would be something along the lines of going out and getting paid to rid a building of ghosts and then using whatever income or other items you come across to upgrade your gear.

No DS screenshots of the game have yet been released, but Ghostbusters for the DS is expected to feature top-down perspective and will likely feature a more stylized and cartoony approach to the character designs similar to the game’s Wii version.

Ghostbusters will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, Wii, and DS in Autumn 2008.
