Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End sells 160K Blu-ray copies in first week

The title has now edged out Spider-man 3 as the best-selling Blu-ray title in the first week of release.

According to Video Business, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End now has the distinction of being the best-selling Blu-ray title in the first week of release.
The previous record was held by Spider-man 3, which sold 130,000 copies in its first six days on sale. Pirates blew past the webslinger by selling an estimated 160,000 copies last week. Great news for fans of the film as well as for backers of the Blu-ray format.
